Job summary

Wimbledon Food & Drink at The Championships is hiring a Reservations Manager to lead end-to-end bookings across onsite venues. You will manage the SevenRooms platform, guest communications, reporting and capacity strategy, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The role combines a permanent pattern with August–March (part-time) and April–July (full-time), supporting peak summer operations and year-round hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a reservations function or a reservations platform.
• Strong customer enquiry handling and service operations experience.
• Experience with SevenRooms or comparable reservations platform is essential.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to train, support and develop colleagues while maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the reservations operation across all onsite restaurants and dining venues.
• Manage guest requests, bookings and amendments promptly and professionally.
• Champion guest satisfaction and resolve issues while upholding Wimbledon standards.
• Develop and maintain clear reservations procedures, standards and policies.
• Oversee payments and client bookings in collaboration with Finance Partner.
• Own and optimise SevenRooms configuration and usage with the tech team.
• Deliver system training for restaurant managers and hosts.
• Identify opportunities to increase bookings and maximise capacity utilization.
• Produce accurate reservations and booking reports for planning and performance.
• Build relationships with internal teams, clients, partners and booking agents.
• Support and develop a small Reservations team and promote continuous improvement.
• Assist during peak periods and special events, including The Championships.
• Undertake additional duties as required by Restaurant Lead and Finance Partner.
