Job summary

This office-based role focuses on planning and coordinating repairs and maintenance appointments, ensuring timely completion and effective coordination with residents, operatives, contractors and internal teams.

You will manage the repairs system, prioritise emergency and routine work, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience as Repairs Planner, Scheduler or similar role.
• Experience in social housing, housing repairs or property maintenance preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule repairs and maintenance appointments for operatives and contractors.
• Allocate jobs by priority, location and availability.
• Update the repairs system with accurate job and appointment information.
• Liaise with residents to confirm repair appointments.
• Monitor outstanding repairs and reschedule as needed.
• Ensure emergency, urgent and routine repairs are prioritised.
• Maintain records and provide updates on outstanding works.
