Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Repairs Planner to join a social housing team in Havant. The role focuses on scheduling responsive repairs and coordinating maintenance visits for residents, with a hybrid work pattern (3 days in the office, 2 from home) and a 40-hour week.

This temporary 3-month contract offers £15.09 per hour, with potential to go permanent for the right candidate. You will allocate jobs, liaise with residents, track progress, and maintain accurate records

Qualifications

• Experience as Repairs Planner, Repairs Scheduler or in a similar role.
• Experience in social housing or property maintenance is desirable.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Good IT skills and experience using scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and coordinating responsive repairs and maintenance appointments.
• Allocating jobs to operatives and ensuring workloads are managed efficiently.
• Liaising with residents to arrange appointments and provide updates.
• Monitoring outstanding repairs and following up on delayed jobs.
• Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records.

Repairs Planner – Social Housing

Location: Havant
£15.09 per hour
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Hybrid working – 3 days in the office, 2 days from home

Our client is looking for an experienced Repairs Planner to join their team in Havant, supporting the delivery of responsive repairs and maintenance services within social housing.
