SOLOS Consultants Ltd is seeking a Repairs Coordinator to join a busy responsive repairs team in Bristol. You will coordinate repairs, schedule appointments, support on-site colleagues and keep residents informed throughout the repair process.

This fast-paced, customer-focused role requires an organised, proactive individual who can prioritise work, update systems accurately and liaise with contractors to ensure repairs are completed right first time.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, respond to and manage repair enquiries from residents, contractors and internal colleagues.
  • Record repair requests accurately and prioritise work to deadlines.
  • Allocate, plan and schedule repairs to maximise resources and minimise delays.
  • Monitor progress of scheduled jobs and liaise with operatives and supervisors.
  • Keep residents informed of appointment arrangements and changes.
  • Update internal systems with current status notes and escalate concerns as needed.

Repairs Coordinator

Location: Brislington, Bristol

Contract: Initial 3-month contract

Pay Rate: £15.90 per hour PAYE or £20.10 per hour Umbrella

Working Arrangement: Fully office-based for the first 2-3 months, with potential hybrid working of up to 2 days per week once fully competent, subject to business needs and office cover.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Repairs Coordinator to join a busy Responsive Repairs team, helping to ensure repairs are arranged efficiently and completed to a high standard.

This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role where you will be responsible for coordinating repairs, scheduling appointments, supporting colleagues working on-site, and keeping residents informed throughout the repair process.

You will play a key role in ensuring repairs are completed right first time, resolving issues as they arise and helping to deliver an excellent service to residents and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, respond to and manage repair enquiries from residents, contractors and internal colleagues.
  • Accurately record repair requests and prioritise work in line with agreed timescales and procedures.
  • Allocate, plan and schedule repairs effectively to maximise resources and minimise delays.
  • Monitor the progress of scheduled jobs throughout the day, liaising with operatives, surveyors, supervisors and trade managers.
  • Keep residents and stakeholders informed of appointment arrangements, delays, changes and repair updates.
  • Rearrange appointments where necessary and proactively resolve scheduling issues.
  • Provide advice, guidance and support to colleagues working on-site, helping to ensure jobs are completed within agreed timescales.
  • Update internal systems promptly with accurate notes reflecting the current status of repairs.
  • Check that completed repairs have been appropriately recorded by operatives and escalated any concerns to the relevant managers or supervisors.
  • Liaise effectively with contractors and other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient repairs service.
  • Identify and respond to potential health and safety concerns relating to resources and scheduled works.

  • A commitment to delivering a high-quality service and ensuring repairs are completed as efficiently as possible.

Previous experience in repairs coordination, housing maintenance, scheduling, facilities management or a similar administrative/customer service role would be advantageous.
