Job summary

Arnold Clark Group in Edinburgh’s Sighthill Car & Van Rental is seeking a part-time Rental Customer Advisor who is organised, enthusiastic and committed to delivering great service to customers.

As part of a busy team, you’ll handle face-to-face and telephone enquiries, maintain accurate records, manage daily reports, and support branch operations while covering shifts across weekends. The role offers excellent benefits including generous leave and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Strong administrative skills.
• Demonstrable ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts on a rota basis seven days per week and also cover other branches.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Delivering a consistently excellent level of customer care, both face to face and on the telephone.
• Using your brilliant communication and organisational skills to ensure all tasks are completed effectively and efficiently.
• Handling customer complaints and queries.
• Monitoring and controlling expenditure.
• Running daily reports and ensuring they're acted on.
• Helping to promote the branch and a positive customer experience.
• Occasionally covering at other branches when needed.

Hours

Part Time: Saturday 7.30am - 4.30pm, Sunday 8.30am - 4.30pm.

About the role

As part of a busy Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental team, you'll work with management and other staff members to deliver the excellent service levels our customers expect from us.

The right person for this varied role will be flexible, organised and committed to providing a high standard of customer service at all times.

Day-to-day duties
