Job summary

Arnold Clark is recruiting an organised and enthusiastic Rental Customer Advisor for our Manchester Airport Car & Van Rental branch. You will work with management and colleagues to deliver the high service levels our customers expect.

The right person will be flexible, on a rota basis, and committed to providing a high standard of customer service at all times. Part-time weekend shifts apply.

Qualifications

• Strong administrative skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work on a rota including weekends.
• A full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer care face-to-face and over the telephone.
• Using communication and organisational skills to complete tasks efficiently.
• Handling customer complaints and queries.
• Monitoring and controlling expenditure.
• Running daily reports and ensuring they’re acted on.
• Promoting the branch and delivering a positive customer experience.
• Occasionally covering at other branches when needed.

Hours

Part time: Saturday 8am - 7pm and Sunday 8am - 7pm

About The Role

As part of a busy Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental team, you’ll work with management and other staff members to deliver the excellent service levels our customers expect from us.

The right person for this varied role will be flexible, organised and committed to providing a high standard of customer service at all times.

Day-to-day duties

• Delivering a consistently excellent level of customer care, both face to face and on the telephone
• Using your brilliant communication and organisational skills to ensure all tasks are completed effectively and efficiently
• Handling customer complaints and queries
• Monitoring and controlling expenditure
• Running daily reports and ensuring they’re acted on
• Helping to promote the branch and a positive customer experience
• Occasionally covering at other branches when needed

Essential Skills

• Strong administrative skills
• Demonstrable ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• The flexibility to work shifts on a rota basis seven days per week and also cover other branches
• A full UK driving licence

Nice To Have (but Not Essential)

• Previous experience of working in the rental industry
