Job summary

Weaver Vale Housing Trust is seeking an arrears officer to manage lower-level rent arrears across a defined patch. The role is field-based with a mix of office and home working and travel across the patch, requiring a full UK driving licence and access to a car.

You will work alongside High Level Rent Support Officers to reduce arrears and safeguard tenancies, contributing to the Trust’s income protection and customer support objectives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Five GCSEs at grade 4-9 (A*-C) including maths and English, or NVQ Level 2 in a related subject, or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Manage lower-level rent arrears for current customers on a specific patch.
• Collaborate with High Level Rent Support Officers to reduce arrears and protect income.
• Help sustain tenancies for customers at risk of falling into arrears
