Job summary

DNA Payments Group is recruiting for a Trainee Sales Representative to join the DNA Sales Academy and drive new business in SME markets within a UK postcode area. The role combines structured training, coaching and live field activity with progression to Business Development Consultant after six months.

Graduates will be promoted through a clear progression ladder, with a six-month academy and achievement-based advancement to higher roles.

Qualifications

Self-motivated and able to work independently in the field.
Resilient and comfortable with rejection.
Coachable and willing to apply feedback.
Reliable, punctual and prepared.
Strong work ethic and willingness to meet daily activity targets.
Confident communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Honest, professional and able to represent DNA Payments appropriately.
Ability to perform simple maths calculations – e.g 1% of £100.

Responsibilities

Visit SME businesses within assigned postcode area to generate new business.
B2B cold calling and field activity while building territory.
Identify merchant needs and promote DNA Payments, EPOS and Zash solutions.
Manage and develop your CRM and pipeline to achieve conversions.
Complete customer applications and support customers through to live and transacting.
Coordinate with internal teams to deliver and set up products and ensure customer experience.
