Job summary

DNA Payments invites applications for a Trainee Sales Representative, joining the DNA Sales Academy. This remote role covers Brighton and surrounding areas, with field visits to SME businesses and structured training.

Excellent progression is planned after the six‑month academy, leading to Business Development Consultant and beyond. Minimum prior sales experience is not required; you should be self-motivated, coachable and able to hit daily activity targets.

• Ability to perform simple maths calculations – i.e 1% of £100.

Responsibilities

• Complete all product, compliance, systems and sales training.
• Manage and develop your assigned territory on a daily basis.
• B2B cold calling (75+ door knocks daily once fully active).
• Target SME businesses with annual card turnover of £50,000 - £7.5m.
• Identify merchant needs and promote appropriate DNA Payments, EPOS and Zash solutions.
• Efficiently manage your CRM and pipeline of opportunities to achieve expected conversions.
• Work towards 1 self-generated sales a day (20 per average working month)
• Target clients with monthly £50+ net revenue to achieve monthly targets.
• Successfully complete customer applications and support customers through to live and transacting.
• Work with internal teams to process, deliver and set up products, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
• Apply coaching and feedback and demonstrate continued improvement.
• Maintain the required standards for attendance, punctuality, activity, administration and professional conduct.
• Be present on daily huddle calls both in the morning and in the evening.
