DNA Payments Group is looking for a Business Development Representative to join the DNA Sales Academy and drive new business by visiting SME s within an assigned postcode area. This field-based, entry-level role combines structured training, coaching and live field activity.

No prior sales experience required. You must be self-motivated, resilient, reliable and comfortable approaching business owners face to face.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and able to work independently in the field.
• Resilient and comfortable with rejection.
• Coachable and willing to apply feedback.
• Reliable, punctual and prepared.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to meet daily activity targets.
• Confident communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Honest, professional and able to represent DNA Payments appropriately.
• Ability to perform simple maths calculations - i.e 1% of £100.

Responsibilities

• Complete all product, compliance, systems and sales training.
• Manage and develop your assigned territory on a daily basis.
• B2B cold calling (75+ door knocks daily once fully active).
• Target SME businesses with annual card turnover of £50,000 - £7.5m.
• Identify merchant needs and promote DNA Payments solutions.
• Efficiently manage your CRM and pipeline of opportunities to achieve conversions.
• Work towards 1 self-generated sale per day (20 per month).
• Target clients with monthly net revenue for targets.
• Complete customer applications and support through to live and transacting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver and set up products.
