Job summary

Wynne Consulting Limited is recruiting a Technical Sales Engineer to drive growth across the UK and Ireland, selling a broad range of sensors, instrumentation and measurement systems into engineering, R&D, testing and manufacturing environments.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will build strong customer relationships, identify opportunities, present technical solutions and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to order, including customer visits and remote engagements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Science or related technical discipline.
• Experience in technical sales, sales engineering or applications engineering.
• Strong understanding of engineering, instrumentation and measurement technologies.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Proven ability to develop relationships with engineers, scientists and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain commercial and technical relationships with customers.
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities across engineering and R&D environments.
• Promote technical products and deliver solutions to multiple industries.
• Manage opportunities through the sales cycle and prepare quotations.
• Maintain CRM records and forecast sales performance.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to tailor solutions.
• Attend industry events and client visits across the UK.
