Job summary

Smart Search Technical Ltd is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to develop and manage sales of sensing solutions across the UK and Ireland, understanding customer requirements and proposing suitable technical solutions with regular customer visits.

Travel across the UK & Ireland is required, with occasional supplier visits and training in Europe and Japan. Direct sensor experience is beneficial but not essential for the right technical sales background.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B technical sales experience.
• Good understanding of technical products and applications.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland.
• Ability to travel internationally for supplier meetings and training.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Direct sensor experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
