Job summary

Averna Powered by Spherea is seeking an Account Manager for the UK & Ireland. This fully remote role requires travel to client sites within the UK or ROI and focuses on developing new business and managing long‑term client relationships.

You will collaborate with pre‑sales teams, forecast and manage pipeline, and negotiate contracts to secure sustainable opportunities. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in consultative engineering sales, an engineering degree, and fluent English, with up to 60%

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Technology with a strong business mindset.
8+ years of consultative sales experience in engineering solutions.
Experience with MedTech is a strong plus.
Willingness to travel up to 60% and English fluency required.

Responsibilities

Identify and approach the right customers where Averna can make the difference.
Deeply understand customer needs and position Averna as the partner of choice for mission‑critical challenges.
Develop and execute account strategies for your region, including forecasting and pipeline management (Salesforce).
Expand customer relationships and penetrate new accounts.
Work with pre‑sales teams to win complex deals and negotiate terms to secure sustainable business.
Represent Averna at tradeshows and events (approx. 1 per quarter).
