Job summary

Merritt Recruitment is recruiting a Technical Sales Specialist for high-performance coatings. This remote role requires regular UK and international travel and targets growth across aerospace, transport and industrial sectors.

You will drive revenue, expand key accounts, support trials and lead proposals, pricing and negotiations while engaging with OEMs, MROs and regulators. Expect frequent travel and close collaboration with the coatings value chain.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-performance coatings sales or business development.
• Able to interpret specifications and advise on coating systems.
• Knowledge of export controls and regulatory compliance.
• Full UK driving license and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue and market growth across aerospace, transport and industrial coatings.
• Own and expand key accounts, building long-term strategic relationships.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities and applications.
• Provide first-line technical support and advise on coating systems and standards.
• Support trials, approvals, demonstrations and new product development.
• Lead proposals, tenders, pricing and commercial negotiations.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences and customer events.
• Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasts and market intelligence.
