Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking a Subsidence Indemnity Manager to lead the indemnity insights for subsidence claims across the UK. This remote role blends analytical leadership with risk-focused claims management, enabling data-driven decisions to optimise spend and outcomes!

You'll work with suppliers, underwriters and the wider platform to drive cost-effective resolutions, conduct site visits, and guide claims forums while maintaining a clear focus on customers and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Expertise in diagnosing subsidence, heave, landslip and other structural damage.
• Understanding of insurance policies, claims philosophies, and legal principles.
• Knowledge of building pathology, defect investigation and repair techniques.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations, Party Wall Act, asbestos legislation, and contract administration.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Ability to explain complex issues clearly and compassionately.
• Analytical skills to assess datasets and use data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Understanding structural damage, liability, repair strategies, and customer outcomes for subsidence.
• Conduct subsidence enquiries, investigations, and audits.
• Oversee subsidence suppliers and relationships.
• Identify claim outliers, trends, and escalation points.
• Identify indemnity opportunities and customer service improvements.
• Collaborate to apply new tech to optimize claims spend.
• Conduct site visits nationally to validate causes and risks.
• Lead claim forums to track progress and duration.
• Ensure timely, cost-effective claim resolutions.
• Provide ad-hoc case support and technical advice.
