Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is recruiting a Subsidence Indemnity Manager for a remote role with travel to the Midlands/South East. You will lead technical management of subsidence claims, use data-driven insights to guide settlements, and oversee supplier partnerships to optimise spend and outcomes for customers.

The role requires expert subsidence knowledge, insurance principles, and strong analytical communication, with full UK driving licence and national travel.

Qualifications

• Expertise in diagnosing subsidence, heave and landslip; ability to investigate and repair varying causes of ground movement.
• Understanding of insurance policies, claims philosophies, CDM Regulations, and contract administration.
• Full and current UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Drive best practice in subsidence claims handling and indemnity spend optimization.
• Conduct subsidence enquiries, investigations, and audits referencing underwriting philosophies and LBG policies.
• Oversee subsidence suppliers and lead claim forums to track type, progress and duration.
• Identify outliers, trends, and indemnity opportunities; escalate where needed.
• Collaborate to apply new tech to optimize claims spend for subsidence.
• Conduct site visits nationally to validate causes and assess risk.
• Provide ad-hoc technical support, underwriting referrals, and data-driven insights.
• Share expertise to develop the team and drive continuous improvement.
