Job summary

James Andrew Recruitment Solutions (JAR Solutions) is assisting a Housing Association in the South West with a temporary 3–6 month contract for a Responsive Repairs Manager. The role is home based, starting immediately, with a daily rate around £400 (Umbrella).

You will lead responsive repairs, damp and mould cases, and stakeholder/customer-focused service delivery. 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing responsive repairs services within social housing or local authority environments.
• Strong knowledge of damp and mould management and resident engagement.
• Experience handling customer complaints and escalations to timely resolutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage responsive repairs services across a housing portfolio.
• Oversee complex damp and mould cases and drive service delivery.
• Chase outstanding repairs and reduce backlogs; conduct site visits as needed.
• Drive contractor performance and manage in-house teams and supply chain partners.
