Job summary

Zipchat AI is hiring a Founding Sales Development Representative for the UK market. You will own a defined territory, perform outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn, and create qualified opportunities for the Account Executive team.

As an early SDR in a remote, async-first company, you will receive coaching, product training, and structured support. You’ll collaborate with marketing and sales, continuously improve messaging, and grow into future sales roles as you drive growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year outbound sales or related internship.
• Native-level English communication, written and spoken.
• Ability to work remotely from the United Kingdom.
• Interest in SaaS, ecommerce, and AI-enabled products.

Responsibilities

• Prospect UK-based ecommerce brands within the assigned territory.
• Run daily outbound activity through cold calls, email, and LinkedIn.
• Qualify prospects and identify business needs, buying signals, and objections.
• Book meetings for Account Executives with well-prepared, relevant prospects.
• Maintain accurate notes, follow-up activity, and pipeline hygiene in the CRM.
• Work closely with your manager to refine messaging, sequencing, and talk tracks.
• Use feedback, coaching, and experimentation to improve conversion rates over time.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales peers to share insights from the UK market.
