Job summary

CRA Legal is seeking an experienced Fast Track Fee Earner for non-portal personal injury work. The role is fully remote with occasional in-person office visits and is based from Cardiff or anywhere in South Wales.

You will handle RTA claims, assess liability and damages, draft proceedings, and negotiate settlements with insurers. A background in non-MOJ car team work and familiarity with CPR is advantageous. Solicitor/CILEX qualifications welcomed but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing non-portal RTA personal injury claims.
• Good understanding of Civil Procedure Rules.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Handle non-portal RTA claims involving disputed liability.
• Manage motorcycle accident claims and liability denials.
• Assess medical reports, quantum, and general damages.
• Prepare schedules of loss and special damages.
• Negotiate settlements with insurers and third parties.
• Draft proceedings and progress litigated claims.
• Manage court deadlines, directions, and disclosure.
• Instruct Counsel and relevant experts when necessary.
