NEC Software Solutions in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Revenues and Benefits professional to join the busy Revenues & Benefits processing centre. The role offers an office hybrid or remote option, subject to location, with a focus on housing and council tax changes and accurate KPI-driven processing.

The successful candidate will have experience with NEC / Academy / IBS (Civica) systems, strong problem solving and customer service skills, and the ability to work under pressure

Qualifications

• Experience of using NEC / Academy / IBS (Civica) Systems.
• Proven problem solving skills.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Housing Benefits / Council Tax.
• Delivers under pressure with a flexible approach to work.
• IT competent.
• Self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Deal directly with customers via letter, email and telephone to ensure delivery against service contractual requirements and provide excellent customer service.
• Meet the standards or deadlines required with minimum support.
• Complete high levels of workload consistently in line with Right Time Indicator, Right Benefit Indicator and Subsidy regulations.
• Coach and mentor junior staff/colleagues.
• Share best practice with colleagues and lead update sessions to wider team.
• Keep knowledge up to date through publications, notes and bulletins and attend external training to improve wider team skills.
• Maintain a constructive and positive attitude and take on additional duties as required to assist improvements.
• Regularly exceed minimum contractual standards for productivity/accuracy.
