Job summary

JobsTrackR is seeking a Benefits Assessor to process Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit/Reduction claims, ensuring accuracy and strong customer service. You will assess a wide range of applications, handle overpayments, keep records up to date, and support colleagues through mentoring and QA activities.

Benefits Assessor

Are you an experienced Benefits Assessor looking for your next opportunity? We're seeking a skilled professional to process Housing Benefit (HB) and Council Tax Benefit/Reduction (CTB/CTR) claims accurately and efficiently, while delivering excellent customer service.

You’ll assess a wide range of benefit applications, manage overpayments, maintain accurate records, provide advice to customers, and support colleagues through mentoring and quality assurance activities.

Experience assessing HB and CTR claims essential
Strong knowledge of benefits legislation and verification processes
Experience with Academy software desirable
Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills
