Job summary

Training Qualifications UK (TQUK) is seeking an ambitious, commercially minded Sales Manager to lead regional sales teams across England. This remote role involves frequent travel to client sites and occasional visits to the head office for relationship-building and strategy alignment.

You will coach BDMs/BDOs, drive growth, and deliver data-informed market insights to meet regional and national objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales leadership, including managing and developing regional sales teams.
• Experience in the education/training/assessment sector is preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to analyse data, forecast sales and identify growth opportunities.
• Experience in account development and new business acquisition, including upselling and cross-selling.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a high-performing regional sales team to exceed targets.
• Provide regular coaching to improve performance and product knowledge.
• Monitor KPIs and drive accountability and continuous improvement.
• Develop accurate sales forecasts and contribute to regional and national planning.
• Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and outreach initiatives.
