Job summary

Made Tech is seeking experienced Cloud Engineers to design, implement and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructures for public sector clients. You will provide dedicated cloud expertise within multi-disciplinary software delivery teams and advise on best practices.

You will maintain broad technical knowledge across major cloud platforms, pursue relevant certifications and lead delivery of cloud-based solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Significant prior experience in a cloud engineering leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Hands-on software experience with multiple languages and modern engineering practices.
• Deep experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience architecting cloud infrastructure through deployment and support.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams with product, design and tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams with cloud engineering as a core output.
• Decide on difficult technical issues in consultation with team and client.
• Design cloud architectures meeting scalability, performance and security requirements.
• Deploy and manage cloud resources using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Configure networking, security and access control in cloud environments.
• Build automated provisioning, monitoring and scaling with CI/CD pipelines.
