Job summary

Made Tech seeks a Lead Cloud Engineer to design, implement and maintain client cloud infrastructures across major cloud platforms. You will lead cloud engineering initiatives, advise on best practice, and ensure security, scalability and high availability in complex environments.

You will stay abreast of emerging technologies, pursue certifications, and collaborate in a multi-disciplinary software delivery context across UK offices.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cloud engineering teams delivering cloud solutions.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure and GCP platforms.
• Hands-on software engineering background and modern DevOps practices.
• Containerisation expertise with Docker and Kubernetes; IaC experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality cloud-based solutions for clients.
• Lead cross-functional teams and act on technical decisions.
• Design scalable, secure cloud architectures and ensure compliance.
• Maintain IaC, CI/CD pipelines and cloud security practices.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to Cloud Practice growth.
