Job summary

Made Tech is seeking a Cloud Engineer within its Cloud & Engineering Practice to design, implement and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for public-sector clients.

You will lead delivery across cloud platforms, advocate best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, high-availability services. A background in software engineering and certifications is valued.

Qualifications

• Background in software engineering with strong cloud infrastructure experience.
• Ability to design secure, scalable cloud architectures across major platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience delivering in a multi-disciplinary software delivery environment.
• Familiarity with IaC, CI/CD, and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams in cloud engineering initiatives.
• Design cloud architectures meeting scalability, performance and security needs.
• Deploy and manage cloud resources using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Configure networking, security and access control in cloud environments.
• Develop automation for provisioning, monitoring and scaling of resources.
