Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is seeking an experienced Membership & Engagement Director to develop, engage, grow and retain the organisation's membership base for a not-for-profit body. The role is remote, self-employed, and part-time, offering 14-18 hours per week across four days with a day rate of £350-£450, depending on experience.

You will work closely with colleagues, reporting to the General Manager, leading onboarding, member communications and engagement initiatives, while guiding

• Experience in a membership or related role is preferred.
• Ability to build strong relationships with diverse members.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop onboarding processes to welcome new members and keep them informed.
• Engage with existing members to understand needs and improve satisfaction.
• Plan and deliver member communications, newsletters, and updates.
• Lead the Future Leaders group and MR Awards initiatives.
• Support outreach and collaboration with committees to deliver membership goals.
