Job summary

Attivo, lifestyle financial planners, seeks a Paraplanner to provide comprehensive admin and technical support. You will prepare client meeting documentation, suitability reports, and applications, ensuring high accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Role is fixed-term for 12 months with offices in multiple UK locations, including Cardiff and Cheltenham. You’ll develop product and regulatory knowledge while supporting Financial Planners and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Two years’ Paraplanner experience minimum.
• Solid knowledge of pensions and investments.
• Strong understanding of compliance processes and issues.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Analytical and research capabilities for client positions.

Responsibilities

• Analyse the client’s financial position against their priorities and advisers’ guidance.
• Complete a suitability report for the Financial Planner and evidence client objectives.
• Ensure data in the CRM is accurate and up-to-date.
• Gather and research new plans; document and evidence suitability.
• Submit applications to providers with complete, compliant documentation.
• Take ownership of cases and monitor progress to meet service standards.
• Communicate progress to the Financial Planner and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure regulatory obligations are discharged during all engagements.
• Support responses to complaints and ensure file checks are completed.
• Maintain CPD records and knowledge of pensions, investments, and estate planning.
