Job summary

Attivo Group is seeking a Paraplanner to provide comprehensive administrative and technical support to Financial Planners. You will prepare meeting docs, suitability reports, and applications, aligning solutions with client needs while maintaining high compliance standards.

The role is a fixed-term 12-month contract, with offices across the UK. Candidates nationally are welcome as Attivo operates a nationwide presence and fosters professional development in pensions, investments and estate

Qualifications

• Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning with the CII or equivalent.
• At least 2 years’ experience as a Paraplanner.
• A comprehensive knowledge of pensions and investments.
• Strong understanding of compliance processes.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Good organisational and time management abilities.
• Experience in the financial services industry as an IFA.
• Ability to work on own initiative with discretion.
• Capability to manage client relationships and cases.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical and research skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse the client’s current financial position and priorities; make recommendations.
• Complete in full a suitability report for the Financial Planner.
• Utilise Paraplanner tools to evidence client objectives have been met.
• Ensure data gathered concerning the Client’s portfolio is accurate and up to date.
• Research and source new plans as appropriate.
• Maintain records in the CRM system with clarity and timeliness.
• Submit completed business applications to providers with required documents.
• Take ownership of cases and monitor progress to completion.
• Initiate client communications and keep the Financial Planner informed.
• Ensure regulatory obligations are discharged in all engagements.
• Support responses to complaints and maintain service standards.
• Ensure files undergo full compliance checks and complete remedial actions.
