Job summary

Attivo Group is seeking a detail-oriented Paraplanner to provide comprehensive administrative and technical support for financial planning. You will draft suitability letters, prepare reports, and research best solutions for clients.

The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract with offices in Cheltenham, Cardiff, Fareham, Newbury, London, Liverpool, Darlington and Grangemouth. You will build client relationships, maintain compliance, and develop knowledge across pensions, investments and estate

Qualifications

• Must hold a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (CII) with up-to-date knowledge.
• At least 2 years’ Paraplanner experience in financial services.
• Solid understanding of pensions, investments and estate planning.
• Strong compliance/process experience and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Analyse client financial position and priorities; align with adviser guidance and docs.
• Prepare complete suitability reports and evidence client objectives.
• Utilise paraplanner tools to support reports.
• Ensure data accuracy and up-to-date CRM records across cases.
• Submit applications to providers with all documents and compliance checks.
• Take ownership of cases from start to finish and monitor progress.
• Communicate progress to Financial Planner and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain regulatory compliance throughout engagements; support complaints handling.
• Keep knowledge current on pensions, investments and estate planning.
• Pursue professional qualifications toward chartered status.
