Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Project Controller to support major programmes, ensuring accurate PMB baselines, timely reporting, and cost control. You will advise the Project Manager/Director, audit contractor submissions, and support baseline change management in a dynamic, hybrid UK environment.

The role requires strong Excel skills, the ability to coordinate large stakeholder groups, and a proactive approach to problem solving within a multidisciplinary project team.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Project Control principles for major programmes.
• Experience in facilitating and administering multidiscipline meetings with large groups of stakeholders.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience within a project environment supporting the Project Manager/Director.

Responsibilities

• Help establish the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) and support the project on the monthly collation of progress data related to time, cost, risk, and quality for monthly business reporting.
• Support the Project Manager/Director by providing specialist advice and technical knowledge to respond to delays, issues, and other challenges throughout the project.
• Administer Project Control activities, conduct audits, assurance checks of contractors' monthly data submissions and ensure the submissions are fully assessed and are paid in line with the project KPI's.
• Support the administration of trend/forecast reporting and the Baseline Change Management of the agreed project budget, ensuring that all changes are correctly attributed and charged accordingly.
• Coordinate the preparation and submission of monthly performance reports to the project lead, in line with business reporting requirements and timescales, to enable prompt decision making, approvals and financial forecasting.
• Provide guidance and corrective actions to teams to ensure the quality of task submissions and reporting of costs.
• Attend monthly reviews and other meetings as required.
