Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Transportation Planner to shape projects across roles and scales. You will establish performance baselines, support monthly progress data, and advise on delays or issues with the Project Manager/Director.

The role involves administering project control, audits, and KPI-aligned payments while coordinating monthly reports. You will handle trend reporting, change management, and cost control, with the opportunity to guide teams and participate in reviews.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Project Control principles for major programmes.
• Experience in facilitating multidiscipline meetings with large stakeholder groups.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to deliver timely reporting under demanding deadlines.
• Strong relationship building and drive to grow within the organisation.
• Experience supporting Project Manager/Director in a project environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish PMB and assist monthly data collation for time, cost, risk and quality reports.
• Provide specialist advice to respond to delays and challenges.
• Administer project control activities and audit contractor data submissions.
• Support trend/forecast reporting and Baseline Change Management of budget.
• Prepare and submit monthly performance reports to project lead and support decision-making.
• Guide teams to ensure quality of submissions and cost reporting.
• Attend monthly reviews and other required meetings.
