Job summary

Roundhouse Recruitment is seeking a Sales Account Manager (Mechanical Engineering) to own an established portfolio with blue-chip clients such as McLaren F1 and BMW. The role blends home-based fieldwork across Southern England with a flexible diary and autonomous working week.

You will sell condition-monitoring and vibration-analysis equipment, build relationships with engineering managers, and develop technical knowledge through accredited training.

Qualifications

• Technical sales/Account management experience in mechanical engineering or related industry.
• A recognised mechanical engineering qualification and understanding of electromechanical machinery.
• Experience selling industrial equipment or technical services such as pumps, motors, gearboxes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an existing portfolio of blue-chip accounts including McLaren F1 and BMW.
• Build relationships with engineering managers, maintenance teams and decision-makers.
• Understand customers' mechanical equipment and reliability needs; propose solutions.
• Sell condition-monitoring and vibration-analysis equipment to industrial customers.
• Manage territory, diary and approximately four site visits per week.
• Work remotely between visits with flexible weekly structure.
• Develop technical knowledge through accredited training in vibration analysis and condition monitoring.
