Job summary
Hydro International, a CRH Company, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join the UK Wastewater Services team in the South of England. The role will involve installing and commissioning water filtration systems on sewage sites, performing site inspections and fault finding, and preparing survey reports for quotations.
The ideal candidate holds City & Guilds qualifications, has completed a mechanical apprenticeship, and possesses a current driving licence.
Qualifications
- Current valid driving license is required.
- City & Guilds qualification is required.
- Completion of a recognised mechanical apprenticeship is required.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage sites.
- Carry out site inspections and fault finding; prepare survey reports for quotations.
- Access and interpret technical instructions using mobile equipment.
- Work at heights, in confined spaces and on sewage sites.
- Be willing to travel/overnight stays as required.
- Occasionally work in Hydro's workshops across the country.
- Collaborate as part of a team with other staff and trades.
