Hydro International, a CRH Company, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to join our UK Wastewater Services team in Dumfries. You will install, commission, test water filtration systems on sewage sites and carry out site inspections with fault finding for quotations.

You will regularly work away from home with overnight stays and collaborate with workshops across the country. A City & Guilds qualification, a recognised mechanical apprenticeship, and a valid driving license are required.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds qualification required.
• Completed recognised mechanical apprenticeship.
• Valid driving license essential.

Responsabilités

• Install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage sites.
• Carry out site inspections and fault finding and compile survey reports for quotation purposes.
• Access and interpret technical instructions using mobile equipment.
• Work at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors on Wastewater projects.
• Work away from home on a regular basis with overnight stays.
• Occasionally work in company workshops across the country.
• Collaborate as a team with other staff and trades.
