Job summary

Hydro International, a CRH Company, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the UK Wastewater Services team in Southampton. You will install and test water filtration systems on sewage sites, perform inspections and fault analysis, and work with mobile tech and in workshops across the country.

A valid driving license and City & Guilds are required, plus an apprenticeship in mechanical trades. This role offers a competitive salary, discretionary bonus, travel allowances, pension, and development

Qualifications

Current Valid Driving License.
City & Guilds Qualified.
Served a recognised mechanical apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

Install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage sites.
Carry out site inspections and fault finding and compile survey reports for quotation purposes.
Access and interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment.
Work at heights, in confined spaces and outside on sites connected with Wastewater (sewage).
Work away from home on a regular basis, requiring overnight stays.
Work in some of our workshops across the country on occasion.
Work as a team with other staff and trades within the business.
