Job summary

Randstad Delivery is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for a 6-month fixed-term contract based in Leeds. You will coordinate the day-to-day movement of pathology samples across the UK, manage driver rotas, coordinate subcontractors, and keep customers, drivers and laboratories informed of collection and delivery arrangements.

You will investigate collection queries, maintain CRM records and driver-related documentation, support safety reviews, and assist with continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating drivers, couriers or time-sensitive collections is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Managing driver rotas and daily operational coverage.
• Coordinating customer sample collections and deliveries to the relevant laboratory within agreed timeframes.
• Handling collection queries and investigations, and issuing clear updates to customers, drivers and laboratories.
• Coordinating subcontractors, courier coverage and hire-car arrangements.
• Maintaining CRM and People records, vehicle insurance records and fuel reports.
• Supporting driver licence checks, legal and safe operations, continuous improvement and other duties assigned by the Logistics Manager.
