Job summary

Abcam is hiring a Territory Account Manager to drive sales and growth across academic, biotech and industry accounts in the UK. You will expand product adoption, increase user bases and manage a high-volume pipeline within a defined territory.

The role reports to the Sales Director on the EMEA Commercial team and requires travel within the territory. We seek a life-science graduate with 3+ years of sales/account-management experience, strong knowledge of lab workflows, and a proven track record

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life science or related discipline.
• 3+ years of sales or account-management experience across academic, biotech and industry accounts.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory workflows and applications, with ability to discuss data and assay performance in a consultative selling approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory strategy by segmenting accounts, prioritizing opportunities, and planning routes and activities across the assigned geography.
• Own sales and account growth across the territory, expanding product adoption, users and buying platforms to increase share of wallet.
• Build relationships with bench scientists, lab managers and procurement stakeholders across multiple accounts.
• Manage a high-volume pipeline, forecast accurately and monitor usage patterns and reorder cycles to prevent churn and identify upsell opportunities.
• Run product trials and competitive conversions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support customer outcomes and revenue growth.
