Job summary

Pareto is seeking a Junior Business Development Manager across the UK to join new teams and grow our book of business. A driving licence and car are required.

Base salary £28,350 with OTE/commission and a largely remote setup allowing you to plan your diary with autonomy. You will engage with clients, perform territory planning, travel to client sites, and drive marketing initiatives to maximise opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ideally educated to degree level.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
• Confident with good presentation skills.
• Driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the company, its marketplace, competitors and target client.
• Undertake effective territory planning and preparation – determine when and which clients/prospects to visit to ensure opportunity is capitalised upon.
• Regularly speak to prospects over the phone and travel to client sites to maintain relationships, overcome objections and educate them on the company's value proposition.
• Implement marketing and category initiatives throughout your customer base.
• Manage and monitor the performance of sales throughout your assigned territory.
• Observe company ethos when attending regional and national conferences, networking with existing clients to further business generation.
