Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote IT Support Specialist to join their distributed IT support team, serving clients based in East London. This fully remote role provides essential technical assistance to end-users and focuses on diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues to keep users productive.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support or help desk environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS.
• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Excellent communication and ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and chat.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and resolve tickets.
• Install and maintain hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Guide users through step-by-step solutions.
• Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff.
• Maintain detailed records in the ticketing system.
