Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote IT Support Specialist to join the technical support team. This fully remote role involves diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues for end-users from a home-based office.

You will be the first point of contact for technical challenges, requiring excellent communication and strong technical fundamentals while managing multiple requests efficiently from various locations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT support or technical helpdesk.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS, basic networking.
• Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote desktop.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
• Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Document all interactions and solutions in the ticketing system.
• Assist with IT asset management and inventory tracking.
