Job summary

Mears Group is seeking an IT Business Partner on a fixed term basis to join our IT team. The role sits at the intersection of technology and business, coordinating IT activity across projects and ensuring stakeholder requirements are understood and delivered.

Based fully remote with occasional travel across the UK, the position offers £47,035 per year plus a £4,500 car allowance and a structured path to successful delivery from concept to implementation.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end IT project delivery.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with SQL and process mapping tools (Visio).
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and self-motivation.
• Full UK driving licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as the link between technical teams and non-technical users, ensuring requirements are clearly understood and solutions implemented.
• Lead the coordination of IT activities across projects from concept through delivery.
• Serve as account manager for key stakeholders during IT-driven change.
• Build, monitor and adapt project plans to meet changing business needs.
• Ensure IT projects align with wider business strategy.
• Capture, define and document system requirements and enhancements.
• Support UAT and secure stakeholder sign-off.
• Deliver structured handovers to BAU teams with clear documentation.
