Job summary

Mears Group PLC is seeking an IT Business Partner to join the IT team on a fixed-term 2-year contract. This fully remote role requires UK-based candidates with travel across the UK as needed. It offers a salary of £47,035 per year plus a £4,500 car allowance.

You will bridge technical teams and business users, coordinating IT activity across projects, managing stakeholders and delivering IT solutions from concept to completion. This is a pivotal role in aligning IT with business strategy.

Qualifications

• End-to-end project delivery experience.
• Able to translate technical concepts for business users.
• Strong communication skills for internal/external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with SQL and process-mapping tools such as Visio.
• Analytical and detail-oriented approach.
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Act as the link between technical teams and non-technical users, ensuring requirements are clearly understood and solutions are accurately implemented.
• Lead the coordination of IT activities across projects from concept through to delivery.
• Serve as account manager for key stakeholders during IT-driven change.
• Build, monitor and adapt project plans to meet changing business requirements.
• Ensure IT projects align with wider business strategy.
• Capture and document system requirements and enhancements.
• Support user acceptance testing and sign-off.
• Deliver structured handovers to BAU teams with clear documentation.
