Job summary

La Fosse is seeking a Technology Business Partner to operate in a fully remote, 4-days-per-week role. Reporting to Technology with outward-facing responsibility, you will help directorates acquire the right technology to solve business problems.

You will prioritise requests, run discovery sessions, plan capacity with internal teams and engage with procurement and information governance to ensure realistic commitments. Inside IR35 contract terms apply.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial thinking with the ability to question what a team has been sold, test whether it fits their needs, and explain the business change involved.
• A good working understanding of cloud, SaaS and AI, and of the crowded market of tools available.
• Strong stakeholder engagement ability.
• Ability to frame problems and apply prioritising/demand management skills competing to facilitate conversations between senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prioritisation
• Help directors and directorates decide what comes first when they bring several requests that Technology cannot resource all at once.
• Discovery
• Run discovery sessions to clarify what teams are trying to do and what value they are seeking.
• Demand planning
• Work with internal Technology teams to understand their capacity, so that commitments made to the business are realistic.
• Partner engagement
• Hold regular check-ins with Procurement and Information Governance.
