Ford Banister IP is a full-service American intellectual property and ecommerce firm with a focus on U.S. trademark and copyright filings, brand protection, including litigation and arbitration. The firm operates fully remotely, serving a primarily international clientele.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Remote IP and Ecommerce Attorney with a U.K. License. The barrister/solicitor will support U.S.-based attorneys in preparing and filing trademark and copyright applications, responding to office actions from the USPTO and Copyright Office, and handling litigation before the TTAB and in federal district courts, as well as arbitrations with ecommerce platforms. The role also includes handling U.K.-based matters. All staff attorneys participate in marketing and business development efforts.

The barrister/solicitor should be prepared to work alongside the firm's principal attorney in Athens, Greece, for at least the first several months. After this training period, remote work is possible.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and research skills
• Ability to work independently and on-site during initial training
• Experience in ecommerce law is a plus
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law or a related field
