Ford Banister IP is a full-service American intellectual property and ecommerce firm with a focus on U.S. trademark and copyright filings, brand protection, including litigation and arbitration. The firm operates fully remotely, serving an international clientele.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Remote IP and Ecommerce Attorney with a U.K. License. The barrister/solicitor will support U.S.-based attorneys in preparing and filing trademark and copyright applications, responding to office actions from the USPTO and Copyright Office, and handling litigation before the TTAB and federal district courts, as well as arbitrations with ecommerce platforms. The solicitor will also manage U.K.-based matters. All staff attorneys participate in marketing and business development efforts.

The solicitor should be prepared to work alongside the firm's principal attorney in Athens, Greece, for the initial several months. After this training period, remote work is possible.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and research skills
• Ability to work independently and on-site during initial training
• Experience in ecommerce law is a plus
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law or related field
• Great attitude
• Pleasant disposition and good cultural fit with current staff
• Desire for long-term cooperation
• Suitable for a newer or entry-level attorney
