Ford Banister IP is a full-service American intellectual property and ecommerce firm focusing on U.S. trademark and copyright filings, brand protection, litigation, and arbitration. The firm operates fully remotely, serving a primarily international clientele.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Remote IP and Ecommerce Attorney with a U.K. License. The barrister/solicitor will support U.S.-based attorneys in preparing and filing trademark and copyright applications, responding to USPTO and Copyright Office office actions, litigating before the TTAB and federal courts, and handling UK-based matters. All staff attorneys participate in marketing and business development efforts.

The attorney should be prepared to work alongside the firm's principal attorney in Athens, Greece, for the initial several months. Afterward, remote work is possible.

Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and research skills
  • Ability to work independently and on-site during training
  • Experience in ecommerce law is a plus
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law or related field
  • Great attitude and pleasant disposition
