Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to design, develop and enhance digital and blended learning for our corporate teams. You will lead end-to-end design projects, shaping learning journeys and ensuring accessibility, impact, and alignment with organisational goals.

The role involves collaborating with SMEs and stakeholders, utilizing Articulate Storyline and Rise, and leveraging AI tools to create engaging content.

Qualifications

• Professional qualifications in Instructional Design, L&D, OD, or Learning Technologies.
• Proven experience in instructional design or digital learning.
• Advanced skills in Articulate Storyline and Rise.
• Proficiency with tools such as Camtasia, Vyond, Canva, MS Teams, Trello and SharePoint.
• Strong knowledge of learning design frameworks, adult learning theory, and accessibility standards.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.
• Experience in the health and social care sector.
• Degree in Education, L&D or related field.
• Experience using AI tools (Synthesia, ChatGPT) in learning content creation.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver digital, blended, and face-to-face learning solutions.
• Collaborate with SMEs, managers and stakeholders to identify learning needs and objectives.
• Develop learning formats including eLearning, microlearning, videos, infographics, simulations and gamification.
• Use authoring tools to create interactive content.
• Ensure accessibility (WCAG AA) and ED&I considerations in designs.
• Apply learning evaluation models to assess impact and improve content.
• Contribute to digital learning standards, templates and style guides.
• Support junior team members and participate in LMS delivery and evaluation using SCORM/xAPI.
