Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to design, develop, and enhance engaging digital and blended learning solutions across the business. You’ll shape learning journeys, lead end-to-end design projects, and apply the latest principles to support a diverse learner population.

You’ll use Articulate Storyline, Rise, and other tools to create impactful content, ensure WCAG AA accessibility, and collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to deliver measurable learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Professional qualifications in Instructional Design, L&D, OD, or Learning Technologies.
• Experience designing digital learning solutions across eLearning, blended formats and delivery channels.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG AA) and ED&I concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver digital, blended, and face-to-face learning solutions.
• Collaborate with SMEs, managers, and stakeholders to identify learning needs and objectives.
• Develop formats including eLearning, microlearning, videos, infographics, simulations, and gamification.
• Use authoring tools like Articulate Storyline, Rise and other tools to create interactive content.
• Ensure accessibility and apply learning theory in all solutions.
• Apply evaluation models to measure impact and improve content via analytics.
• Contribute to digital learning standards, templates, and style guides.
• Support juniors and potentially line manage.
• Work with SCORM/xAPI and LMS delivery and evaluation.
