Job Description:

Lawyers MUST be UK-based and qualified in England & Wales.

A large UK charity is seeking a senior (8+ PQE) commercial property lawyer for its property team. The role can be performed remotely, with optional office attendance.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading on complex property transactions involving the charity's land.
• Advising on commercial property matters like leases, development, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, and agreements.
• Mentoring junior team members.
• Managing external legal counsel.
• Mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies.

The ideal candidate will have substantial post-qualification experience, strong land law knowledge, and excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. An interest in environmental matters is a plus.

The salary is approximately £55,000 per annum, with excellent benefits. The team promotes a collegiate and remote working environment, with annual face-to-face meetings.
