Job summary

Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an ICT Primary Care Remote Support Officer to provide first-line and remote ICT support from the hospital site and via remote tools. The role supports integrated care services with a focus on incident and request handling, under ITIL guidance.

You will work Monday to Friday on a rota within 7:30–18:00, supporting a wide range of users and central systems, and contributing to a patient-centered ICT service.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Broad understanding of PCs and related hardware.
• Familiarity with ITIL-based incident and service request handling.

Responsibilities

• Log incidents and service requests and manage them through to resolution using ITIL practices.
• Maintain incident and service request records, monitor issues across systems.
• Resolve basic incidents at first point of contact and escalate when needed.
• Escalate calls to second/third line support as appropriate.
